How much is shipping?
We have tried as hard as we can to make shipping fair for all our customers. There is a $10 flat rate throughout Australia and any overseas shipping is $20. This just covers the shipping costs for all types of parcels no matter how big or small - for now it is the only fair way - we are exploring other options for the future.
What type of materials do you use in your yarn crafts?
Here at Love in Every Detail we try as hard as we can to use eco friendly and sustainable materials but sometimes this is extremely difficult to source. We will always list the materials that each product is made from.
A list of the types of yarn we are using at the moment is listed below.
100% cotton
100% natural cotton
100% organic cotton
50% bamboo and 50% cotton mix
70% bamboo and 30% cotton mix
85% cotton and 15% polyester mix
We are also hoping to start using many more Australian owned and made materials but will keep our social media and website updated with that progress!!
What other materials do you use?
We also use a variety of other materials besides yarn to produce our products and will try to move towards the most eco friendly options as those opportunities arise. We have not yet released our earring range but these will include polymer clay (non-toxic PVC) and various metals - mainly surgical grade sterling silver or nickel free bearings to be soft on ears and reduce infections. The polymer clay will also be used to bring you jewellery bowls, ring holders, coasters and soap dishes - so get excited!! When we produce these earrings, our business cards, wrapping paper, gift cards and note cards we will update what materials it will use - we are going to try as hard as possible to use recycled paper and card or the next best environmentally friendly option.
With shipping options we are planning on using plant based shipping bags that are home compostable! if you order a product that needs a box it will be plain cardboard to it can be reused, composted or recycled. We are passionate about not leaving our packaging on the earth for millions of years - there are much better ways of marketing than using litter!
How do i wash my products?
We use different types of materials in our various products and these will have different washing instructions. We always list the materials and washing instructions on the product page but have also outlined the washing instructions for each below.
100% cotton
Colours: maximum of 40 degrees Celsius
White: maximum of 60 degrees Celsius
Do not bleach
Do not tumble dry
Lay flat to dry in shade
Low iron or just use steam on flat surface

Cool hand wash or cool gentle machine wash
Do not bleach

Why are the products so expensive?
We feel that our products are very reasonably priced taking into consideration the materials costs and the time taken to create and craft every product by hand. The custom pieces we are able to make do cost more due to the extra materials and time needed in between our usual production.
Who makes the products?
Majority of our products are made by our mother daughter team behind the curtains - Daryl-Anne and Cristyn. Some of our products we source from other makers, artists and business people to help give our brand more variety. We love working with other designers and makers to promote them so if you would like to join us please get in touch! We are trying more and more to also help include charitable work to help various causes close to our hearts but we will keep you updated on all of our partnerships and where our profits are going!
